Giant Miscanthus Rhizomes
Miscanthus Giganteus, also known as Giant Miscanthus, is a perennial grass that’s gaining popularity as a biomass crop. It’s known for its rapid growth, high yield, and low maintenance.
In the first year, plants grown from single rhizomes can reach 2-4 feet in height. Established plants can yield up to 12 tons of dry material per acre by the fourth year.
Larger rhizomes tend to exhibit more growth in their first year. Rhizomes that have numerous small hair roots and growth nodes generally perform better than those that are stripped down and bare without hair roots, which have a 40% lower chance of survival.
Silver Appleyard Ducklings
Silver Appleyard ducks are known for their distinctive silver-and-white plumage and charming patterns. They are active, friendly, and excellent foragers. These ducks thrive in environments with ample water sources and grassy areas. They are valued for their egg production and meat quality, making them a popular choice among poultry enthusiasts.
